HTC is a much mouthed word presently and while having anticipated that the update to Android 4.3 with Sense 5.0 would be released for HTC One market in the U.S. by the end of the week – they have also started the distribution of the update in the past few hours. As anticipated, the first models to receive the update will be the Developer Edition of HTC One to which it is addressed the software update 3.22.15401. A huge leap in release, as the previous year (1.29.1540.17) was still based on Android 4.1.2 (remember that users in the USA have not received the update to Android 4.2.2 which is available in our market). The 4.1.2 version was very successful with the distribution of the wifi calling app for android which then was forwarded to Apple in the same way. It didn’t have many bugs but it was way slower than its competitor – Microsoft.
The news are undoubtedly positive for U.S. users, it is added to that of the start of the deployment of the Android 4.3 in the Taiwanese market reported two days ago which helps to delineate a positive picture in relation to the road-map of the updates of HTC One . If you recall that at the beginning of September, the well-known developer LlabTooFer had stated with respect to:
Regarding the update of HTC One, it will have two waves, the first wave with the builds 3.1x.xxx will be distributed in the USA with Sense 5.0. The second wave will be allocated to the international version of HTC One with Android 4.3 and Sense 5.5 (not yet confirmed). You will still have the first update with Android 4.3 and 5.0 and the second with Android 4.3 and Sense 5.5. In any case, all current devices (HTC One and One Mini Butterfly S) will get Sense 5.5 after the release of HTC T6.
Everything is going according to plan from the top of HTC and in line with forecasts LlabTooFer. The next step will be distributing with the update to Android 4.3 for the version of HTC One Internatioal or the one that is available in Europe. The new version will allow games and software to run faster than the IOS and it will allow calling apps like the ones that will be making international phone calls to have priority and speak the same way they speak from a PC or laptop at home.
