We can’t stop playing this brilliant music trivia quiz that pits you against your Facebook friends and complete strangers. You choose a genre or decade, including Classic Rock or 80s Collection, then listen to five songs. You get a list of multiple-choice options for each song and the faster you guess what the song is, the more points you earn. When you successfully complete a playlist, you’re awarded coins. The more points you earn and the more coins you get the more songs and playlists are unlocked. Of course, you need to have headphones in or the volume up to be able to hear the songs. There is also a Facebook app that syncs with your phone, so you can carry all your coins and playlists over.
Click A Taxi
Min requirements: iPhone, iPod Touch, iOS 4.0+ File size: 3.5MB
Many taxi-booking apps are limited to London, but Click A Taxi works with licensed firms across the UK and Ireland, as well as Scandinavia. It searches for cab companies, based on your location. You can then book a taxi to arrive immediately, or make advanced bookings, and track exactly where your cab is. You can’t pay using the app yet, but Click A Taxi is working on adding this feature.
Golf GameBook

Golf GameBook is a digital scorecard for golf games. It tracks your own scores, creates leader boards from team games and lets you create your own tournaments for your golf league. You can also follow your friends’ games live, even if you’re not playing. There’s a useful forum called Clubhouse and the app also offers built-in instant messaging and Facebook integration.
WinZip

This app for the popular compression tool makes it easy to view, open and save ZIP files on your phone or tablet, whether they’re attached to an email, downloaded from a web page or opened from your memory card. It offers built-in security, so you can safely open encrypted ZIP files, and automatically unzips and installs Android apps from the Play Store and Amazon Appstore.
TeamViewer for Remote Control
